Brief Introduction

YKS series high voltage induction motor has many advantages, such as compact structure, light weight, high efficiency, energy saving, low noise, low vibration, high reliability, long service life, easy installation and maintenance, etc.

The coupling types of YKS series motor made by SIMO company should be determined by using requirements and operation conditions. (Do not choose coupling which can produce axial force). Size and nature of torque needing to be transmitted and the requirements of buffering and vibration reduction. 

For example, for high-power heavy-duty drive, gear coupling can be selected; for the drive with serious impact load or requiring eliminating shafting torsional vibration, the coupling with high elasticity can be used, such as rubber metal ring coupling, coupling with rubber type element and flat spring coupling, etc. For impactive load, elastic pin coupling shall not be used.

For high-speed drive shaft, the coupling with high balancing precision can be selected, such as diaphragm coupling and gear coupling, etc. While it's not suitable to select eccentric oldham coupling, etc.
