For Z2 series dc shunt machine, it is advisable to dismantle winding with method of electrical heating. It is prohibited to adopt the method of fire-burning armature core, which may increase the loss of stator core and decrease the motor efficiency terribly. Professional trained technicians should be responsible for motor maintenance in clean and dry environment.
Re-assembly of motor should be conducted as per the opposite sequence of dismantling. Special attention should be paid that each winding should not be damaged during dismantling and assembly process. The marks of re-assembly brush must be coincided.
