1. Stator: The stator is the stationary part of the motor, which is usually composed of permanent magnets or electromagnets to produce a stable magnetic field.
2. Rotor: The rotor is the rotating part of the motor, usually consisting of a winding coil. When current passes through the rotor winding, the electromagnetic force generated interacts with the stator magnetic field to rotate the rotor.
3. Commutator: The function of the commutator is to switch the direction of the current to ensure continuous rotation of the rotor. It contacts the rotor through brushes to change the direction of current flow.
4. Brushes: Brushes are the conductive material in contact with the commutator and are responsible for transferring the current to the rotor windings.
