1. Rated Power

Rated power is the maximum mechanical power a motor can safely deliver during long-term stable operation. It is usually expressed in kilowatts (kW) and is one of the most important indicators of a motor’s working capacity. In practical selection, rated power helps determine whether the motor can meet the load demand of the equipment.

2. Rated Voltage

Rated voltage refers to the standard voltage required for normal operation of the motor stator winding. It is measured in volts (V) and is generally divided into single-phase and three-phase specifications. The power supply voltage must match the motor’s rated voltage; otherwise, the winding may overheat or even be damaged.

3. Rated Current

Rated current is the input current of the stator winding when the motor operates under rated voltage, rated power, and rated frequency. It is measured in amperes (A) and reflects the electrical load of the motor. This parameter is important for power supply configuration, cable selection, and overload protection.

4. Rated Speed

Rated speed is the stable rotational speed of the motor under rated load conditions, usually expressed in revolutions per minute (r/min). It includes synchronous speed and asynchronous speed, depending on the motor type. Rated speed affects equipment operating rhythm, transmission matching, and overall system efficiency.

5. Rated Frequency

Rated frequency refers to the power frequency required for normal motor operation. In China, the standard industrial frequency is 50 Hz. Frequency compatibility is essential for maintaining stable speed and ensuring the motor reaches its designed performance.
