YR800 wound rotor type induction motor has two types of cooling, IC01 and IC81W.

IC01 - the motor is a free circulation cooling of air as the medium, which means that the cooling medium is freely inhaled from the surrounding environment, and then directly return to the surrounding environment, which belongs to the open state of entering and exiting; The movement of the cooling medium is related to the speed of the motor, or because of the role of the rotor itself, or the role of the overall fan or pump dragged by the rotor, which promotes the movement of the medium.

IC81W - cooling loop layout: external cooler (with a distant medium), that is, the primary cooling medium is circulated in the closed loop, and the heat is transferred to the secondary cooling medium (distant medium) through the external cooler installed on the motor; The primary cooling medium is air, self-circulation (self-ventilation), and the secondary cooling medium (remote medium) is water. The general description is completely enclosed air-water cooled and self-ventilated; The wound rotor type induction motor is equipped with a heat exchanger (air to water); The water cycle is powered by an independent pump or water system.
