The working principle of three-phase synchronous motor is very simple, under the action of AC voltage provided by the power supply, the current in the three-phase stator winding generates a rotating magnetic field, which is like a series of triple rotating magnetic poles, and the winding in the rotor is also affected by the rotating magnetic field, thus rotating up. Because the rotation speed and the number of rotating magnetic poles are consistent, it is called a synchronous motor.
Three-phase synchronous motors can be divided into unipolar, bipolar and multipolar motors, the more poles, the slower the speed, but the torque will increase.
