Brief Introduction

To ensure YRKK series of 5000kw 60hz high voltage ac motor is free from damage, customers should check and accept according to shipping list and read all the labels and instructions.

When the motors with rolling bearing are transported, their bearings have been lubricated with grease and they can be put into operation directly.

When the motors with sliding bearing and rolling bearing which is lubricated with thin oil are transported, there is no oil in bearing box; the surfaces of these bearings and their journals are applied with a layer of anti-rust oil for protection when they are transported.

Do the following jobs immediately after receiving the motors with sliding bearing:

a) To take apart bearing protector at driving end;

b) To visually inspect the conditions of bearing and bearing oil drain hole through oil pointer;

c) To check whether there is water; remove oxidation traces before the motors are used and clean anti-rust oil;

d) To clean bearing box;

e) To inject advanced industrial lubricant (see the section of maintenance) into bearing box and make the oil level reach the normal height;

(f) To rotate drive shaft for at least 10 circles to make the oil distribute various parts of bearing and confirm various oil rings rotate easily and flexibly.
