After placing this series flameproof induction motor and aligning in vertical direction, it shall comprehensively inspect installation clearance between motor and base or foundation; measure and record various clearances, positions and inserting depth of feeler gauge (generally, not considering clearance less than 0.05mm) through feeler gauge; make various spacers depending on measurement dimension, wherein various spacers are about 15mm longer than inserting depth of the feeler gauge and sizes of the clearances are taken as thicknesses of the spacers; firmly insert the spacers made on various corresponding positions, bend the extended parts along base of the motor upwards, and make permanent mark of inserting depth thereon. After positioning the motor on base or foundation of entire equipment, align through shaft coupling.
