The basic working mode of big size DC motors is continuous load. If other working modes are required, a separate agreement shall be made.
The standard rated voltage of this series of motors is 220V, 330V, 440V, 550V, 660 and 750V. Motor with other levels of voltage can also be satisfied, which needs to negotiate with the manufacture when ordering.
The basic excitation mode of this series of motors is separate excitation, and the basic excitation voltage is 220V. Other excitation voltages can also be derived. This series of motors allow forced excitation, the forced excitation voltage should not exceed 500V. During forced excitation period, the excitation current can be slightly exceeded the rated excitation current instantaneously, but after the excitation current is stabilized, it shall not exceed the rated excitation current value.
The occasional short-term overload capacity refers to the ability of the motor to withstand more than the continuous rated load in one minute, which rarely happens or in an emergency. It is recommended to adjust the instantaneous breaking device according to the occasional short-term overload capacity.
The frequently used short-term overload capacity refers to the ability of the motor to repeatedly withstand more than the rated load as part of the normal working cycle.
After short-term overload operation, it must be run with light load, so that the root-mean-square value of the load in the whole load cycle of the motor does not exceed its continuous quota.
