Brief Introduction

The lifting rings on the base of 3 phase slip ring motor are specifically for hook and sling transportation. Never allow lifting or bracing at the core punches or coils. When lifting the entire motor, use slings to distribute the weight evenly and brace with spreader bars to avoid deformation of the top cover or cooler. Careless handling and incorrect use of spreader bars and hooks for lifting during installation may cause more damage to the motor than years of normal operation. Shock and collision of shaft, coupling and bearing parts should be avoided. Because shocks and collisions can damage the bearings, to avoid damage, lift gently.

Before lifting, pay attention to the weight of series 3 phase slip ring motor, the actual weight of the motor is indicated in the motor nameplate, and the motor can only be lifted with the lifting lugs on the base, pull the sling tightly, and don't pull violently or move the motor suddenly. Improper lifting can cause serious injury or danger to life. Lifting the entire motor by the lifting lugs on the top cover is prohibited. Observe all warning signs on the motor and follow the instructions on each sign.

For 3 phase slip ring motor, the motor rotor is a coil wound with cooper wire, and the end of the coil is led to the starting control device through the slip ring. Series 3 phase slip ring motor has characteristics of small starting current, easy to control and large starting torque.
